A guide to Lewes, East Sussex

This quaint British town packs in a ton of shopping opportunities (especially when it comes to Antiques), contemporary art destinations and gourmet stops.

Whether, like me, you are looking for an escape from the “Big Smoke”, or are simply (also like me) a purveyor of pretty British towns, make sure you add Lewes to your list of places to visit. A mere hour and a half train ride from London Bridge, Lewes will charm you with its many, many antique shops, hilly views and fascinating art.
