A guided tour of the gadgets I love, the ones I regret, and the air fryer I’m still pretending I have space for. Also – who says kitchen gadgets need to be ugly?

Can confirm the Our Place gadget is fabulous. Has been a workhorse while we were missing an oven too.
Rice cooker. I’m sorry but as a Korean, it can only be a Cuckoo (Korean brand) or the star, a Zojirushi (Japanese). Not just for rice but also for one pot rice dishes too. I can’t live without mine. Plus, she sings 🎶
Good to know both about the our place and the rice cooker Jamie! I love that it sings. It reminds me of our trip to Japan, where even the street cleaning cart had a jingle 🥹
I don’t use mind enough but my Instant Pot pressure cooker is an absolute game changer. I must dig out my Nutribullet - I stopped using it as some sugar caramelised and jammed the things that release it so I got a bit scared using it! 😆
Oh yes I forgot about pressure cookers! I have an old ikea one (just a pot, not an electronic version) that I use to make bone broth, but it always gives me a mild sense of anxiety it might explode (happened once to my mum and nearly took her head off). Might look into the instant pot!
i'm feeling the same feelings Sophie 😂 pan wise, I have a set of stainless steel pans from Crane, but they have since sadly closed...and yes regrding mayo! have a look at this video:
We have had Fissler pans since we got married 35 years ago. Indestructible, lovely solid bases & come up shiny as new every wash. Not cheap, but 35 years & counting…

I’m with you on the Air Fryer - I just can’t bring myself to part with the cash. I read an article this week about ceramic non-stick not being as healthy as it’s made out. It’s a pain but I’ll stick with my Falk copper. I’m intrigued by the floor cleaner thingy - will take a look at that. The Nutri Bullet is timely as I’ve wanted one but haven’t yet taken the plunge.

I would love to know what pans you use; I am on the hunt for some (not non stick) and a personal recommendation would be great!
Also I’ve never tried mayo in the blender! Do you use anything unusual ingredients wise?
